The first six months of Kadant Johnson Deutschland GmbH's year have been filled with trade shows. ICE Europe, one of the most important trade fairs for the international converting industry, took place at the Munich exhibition center from March 14 - 16. Here, suppliers of machinery, systems, materials, and accessories are offered a unique platform to meet with industry experts who are looking for customized products and converting solutions for concrete investment plans. As the world's leading trade show for converting and processing flexible web materials such as paper, film, foil, and nonwovens, this exhibition has become the industry's central meeting place. The event encompassed 93,650 square feet and featured 338 exhibitors from twenty countries. Kadant took advantage of this trade show to introduce its doctor systems that are particularly well designed for roll and belt cleaning such as the VeriLite™ and VeriKleen™ roll cleaning systems. Focused on increasing uptime and productivity, these solutions enable faster and safer blade changes while reducing maintenance costs and are ideal for use in the lithium-ion battery manufacturing process, among other applications. In the area of rotary joints, many booth visitors were looking for alternative products and informed themselves about our RX® rotary union, G™ rotary union, and SX® rotary joints.

Germany hosted the Tissue World trade show for the first time in Düsseldorf from March 28 -30.  Tissue World has been the leading global event series for the tissue industry worldwide since 1993. This trade show brings together manufacturers, distributors, and buyers from around the world to learn about the latest technological advances, discuss new business strategies, source products, and establish business relationships. More than 120 exhibitors from more than eighty countries participated in Tissue World. Kadant’s experts traveled from Italy, France, and Poland for the show to present the wide range of our tissue manufacturing products to the trade audience. Special attention was given to the promotion of the RotoFlex™ filter for the purification of white water and the recovery of fibers, chemical alkalis, and energy. This filter does not require an external power supply for screen rotation nor permanent flowing spray water and is therefore particularly energy-saving.

Zellcheming Expo opened its doors for the 117th time June 20 - 22 at the RheinMain Congress Center in Wiesbaden, Germany. The Zellcheming Expo is the largest and one of the most important trade shows in the pulp, paper, and supply industry. Around 130 exhibitors came together in a 50,000 square foot exhibition area. At Kadant Johnson Deutschland's 388 square foot booth, trade show visitors were able to learn about the functional principle of the RotoFlex™ filter and of the Turbulator™ Tube Bars® installed in a cylinder by two small demonstration models. This was very well received by the visitors as Kadant was the only exhibitor to bring moving exhibits to the trade show. Zellcheming Expo provided an optimal venue for our experts to cultivate existing customers and network within the industry.
