Kadant to Supply OCC and UKP Systems to Zhejiang Shanying Paper’s PM16 and PM17

Beijing, China, July 9, 2021 - Kadant Fiberline (China) Co. Ltd., a subsidiary of Kadant Inc. (NYSE: KAI), announced it will supply an additional four OCC systems with a combined capacity of 4,200 tons per day and a UKP system to Zhejiang Shanying Paper for its PM16 and PM17 in Jiaxing City, China. Start-up of the OCC systems and UKP system are scheduled for the end of 2022.

The new Kadant Foundations™ fiber processing product lines to be installed feature advanced technologies and equipment enabling the mill to operate with excellent stock quality and yield with up to 20% savings in fiber and energy consumption. These new OCC systems and UKP system will continue the expansion of Shanying Paper’s business in the Zhejiang area. The order consists of pulping, screening, cleaning, disc filters, and dispersion and refining equipment along with a complete reject handling system.
