Kadant Appoints Bilal Mehmood President of Kadant Solutions Division

AUBURN, Mass., June 30, 2020 – Kadant Solutions, a division of Kadant Inc. (NYSE: KAI), announced that Bilal Mehmood has been named president. Mr. Mehmood is currently Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for Kadant Inc. and will join Kadant Solutions Division in his new capacity on July 1, 2020.

Mr. Mehmood joined Kadant Solutions in 1995 and has held various roles throughout the Kadant organization including research and development, marketing, business development, operations, and IT.  In his capacity as CTO, Mr. Mehmood has been responsible for leading global efforts into smart connected products as well as developing, communicating, and executing strategic initiatives in support of organizational growth using technology.

Eric Langevin, chief operating officer of Kadant, said, “I’m very pleased to have Bilal lead Kadant Solutions’ efforts in North American markets. He brings years of experience in product innovation, customer service, business development, and technology enhancement in our target industries.”
