The Kadant Blog

Welcome to the New Kadant Website Experience

With growth, comes change. As Kadant has expanded its portfolio of businesses, the need to change the approach to our website presence became evident. We asked, “Does our website allow users to easily find the products and services they are looking for across Kadant businesses?” The answer was no. The website had become large and all-encompassing with too many product categories, confusing navigation, and no easy way to find the large amounts of resource material available.

So, we came up with a new plan; break apart kadant.com into four websites. These would consist of a redesigned kadant.com and three product specific websites that focus on our Doctoring, Cleaning, and Filtration and Fluid Handling product lines within our Flow Control segment and our Fiber Processing within our Industrial Processing segment.

Our goals for the project were to:

  • Create four interconnected websites with similar design elements that looks clean and modern
  • Clear navigation that makes products, services, and industry information easy to find
  • Mobile and tablet responsiveness
  • Create searchable repositories to make our vast library of resource material easy to find
  • Make it easy to contact Kadant businesses worldwide

These four Kadant websites were launched earlier this month. You can locate them at kadant.com, fiberprocessing.kadant.com, dcf.kadant.com, and fluidhandling.kadant.com. This is the first in a series of articles over the next few weeks that will cover features on each of the websites.

The redesigned kadant.com is now a corporate website with focus on investors, sustainability, automation, acquisition, and innovation. It also has links to our other Kadant owned businesses that focus on wood processing, balers, conveyors and feeders, and fiber-based granules.

Here are some features of the new and improved kadant.com:

Clean and modern design with easy navigation

Kadant.com has been designed with the user in mind. Site navigation is easy to follow, and the design is updated with new content and photography.
