High cleaning efficiency, low flow restrictions, easy maintenance.
Features/Benefits
- Parallel barrels on common header - provides continuous flow during backwash - filter process is not interrupted
- Filter media available - synthetic, wire mesh, slotted wedge wire, diffusion bonded, see Filter Media
- Internal or external backwash - allows backwash by filtered product or external liquid
- Quarter-turn caps with safety relief valve - provide access to filter elements in seconds - without tools - for easy inspection and cleaning
- Positive sealing O-rings-maintain absolute seal integrity to prevent bypass
- Element centering pin - guarantees filter element is axially aligned - even in non-vertical installations
- Pressure gauges on each header and integral differential pressure gauge - easy determination of pressure drop
Custom Configurations/Optional Features
Each AES Multi-Barrel Pressure Filter unit is an application-specific design that can use any or all of these optional features:
- In-Line or paired construction, with as many individual barrels as needed to meet flow requirements
- Manual backwash, or automatic backwash by time clock and/or pressure differential switch
- Low pressure (max 285 PSI/1.9 MPa) or high pressure (max 1000 PSI/6.9 MPa) construction
- Automatic filtration control package, which can be integrated into mill-wide PLC or DCS
- A range of different filtration media and seal materials
