Kadant provides unsurpassed applications knowledge for the cleaning of fabrics, felts and rolls. Our family of Genesis™ shower systems is reliable, robust in construction, and low maintenance. Stationary and oscillating showers are designed for fresh water or process water streams. The MultiJet™ high pressure cleaner is a high-efficiency cleaning system for paper machine dryer fabrics, forming fabrics, and press felts. The patented design uses high pressure water in combination with an effective evacuation and air knife system for maximum permeability. The MultiJet&Brush™ backing roll cleaning system is used for on-line backing roll cleaning. The high-pressure water, brush, and air knife system working in combination enables the removal of impurities, coating color residue, and contaminants from the backing roll.

Reliable shower oscillation systems are critical to machine performance. Kadant offers a full line of oscillation systems from the very basic hydraulic 880 Oscillator, to the new Genesis™ Ultra. to the most widely used oscillator the EMO III, and finally the ArcDrive/ArcGlide Systems. Cleaning and conditioning of press fabrics requires understanding fabric designs, fabric permeability, vacuum systems including piping considerations. Kadant Applications Engineers are uniquely qualified to properly size your system to enhance dewatering and minimize energy consumption through proper design of your felt conditioning uhle boxes. Mist in and around paper machines plagued many mills for years. Kadant has developed unique systems that incorporate standard paper machine components to thoroughly clean any forming fabric and at the same time eliminate the mist which is often associated with high pressure showering.

Fabric Brush Assemblies
Kadant provides a broad range of nozzles for various industries. With the majority of nozzles constructed of rugged, wear resistant 316L stainless steel, Kadant nozzles handle the most severe environments. As an enhancement for worse-case applications, exclusive Arrestech™ plating technology is available upon request. Posi-Purge Showers Systems offer the opportunity to use relatively low quality process water back through purgeable shower nozzles. Clean and precise sheet trimming on the wet-end of the paper machine is critical to high productivity and VersaTrim™ Trim Squirt Technology provides the papermaker with an excellent tool for adjustable deckle control. The Kadant Fabric Brush Assembly removes stickies and other surface contaminants from paper machine fabrics. It is especially effective in applications on machines operating with sizable amounts of secondary fiber in the process. Generally applied as a forming fabric cleaning & conditioning component, the Fabric Brush is equally effective in dryer fabric and non-woven machine applications.
