Kadant GranTek Inc., a subsidiary of Kadant Inc., transforms papermaking waste materials into cellulose based granular products that are used as carriers and delivery systems for crop protection and pest control, as industrial absorbents, and in premium cat litter products.

Our primary brands are Biodac® granular carrier and Gran-sorb® industrial absorbent.

 

Our focus on environmentally friendly processes and products result in a safer, cleaner, healthier environment worldwide.

 

All of our products are manufactured from fibrous sludge waste materials from select paper mills. By transforming this waste into valuable commercial products, we make a positive impact on the environment while providing several safe and end user-friendly products.

 

Kadant GranTek Inc. was founded in 1989 in Green Bay, Wisconsin as Granulation Technology. When Kadant Inc. acquired the company in 2000, the company was renamed Kadant GranTek Inc. Our facility in Green Bay includes manufacturing, a pilot plant, packaging and bagging plant, and warehousing. Finished products are moved by railcar, bulk truck, or in large bulk bags to formulation and customer destinations worldwide.
